We are seeking a Surgical Technician to work alongside Dr. Bared in a busy, professional, and fast-paced practice. Qualified applicants must have acute tactile abilities with steady hands, good dexterity, and excellent eyesight. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain sterile technique during surgery and ensure all equipment adheres to sterile practice. Ensure required items for all surgical procedures are available in the office. Wash and pack instruments and prepare them for sterilization. Demonstrate strong communication skills with peers. Assist the surgeon by passing instruments during procedures using proper techniques. Keep accurate counts of sharps (blades, sutures, needles) and local anesthesia injected during the procedure. Assist the surgeon in a first assistant role as needed. Stock the Operating Room with items needed for surgery. Assist the anesthesiologist with restocking and patient preparation in the operating room. Turn over the operating room and prepare for the next case as needed. On occasion, assist in other procedures such as hair transplant cases; training will be provided. Qualifications
