Overview
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Santa Monica, California. The RN provides specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional treatments, preparing patients for procedures, assisting during interventions, and monitoring post-procedure recovery. The role requires advanced cardiac care skills and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Base pay range

Conduct assessment of patients prior to procedures, including reviewing medical history and performing physical exams Position patients correctly for the procedure and ensure EKG electrodes and cardiac leads are properly placed Assist physicians during procedures, including placement of catheters, wires, balloons, stents, structural heart devices, and other cardiac interventions Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms Assist in arterial and/or venous sheath removal and transport patients to the recovery area Monitor vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters during catheterization and interventional procedures Support post-procedure care and ensure a smooth transition to the next phase of care Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and keep supplies stocked Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and physicians Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice Qualifications
Required Qualifications
One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification Current ACLS Certification Preferred Qualifications
PALS or ENPC Certifications RCIS certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Job Details
