Overview
The IT Clinical Apps HIM team focuses on the design, build, implementation, and support of Cerner Profile, XR and RRD applications as well as other applications used in the HIM space. We work closely with key business stakeholders across the organization, including Compliance and Legal and other IT teams to provide an excellent end-product to support patient care providers and their workflows. Position
The Analyst III supports ongoing projects as well as on‑call support for all aspects of IT Clinical Apps HIM. The analyst engages directly with other IT teams, clinicians, project managers and leaders to help design, build, implement, and support the applications our team is responsible for. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-5, 7-4, with some variation and call rotation including weekends. This can be a remote position if you live in the following states: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, GA, FL, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, MN, MS, NH, NM, NY, NC, ND, NE, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WA, & WY. Responsibilities
Relentless focus on delivering outcomes and value to the business; partner with internal customers to understand needs related to service excellence, analytics, technology, and reporting; determine actions and make recommendations to achieve desired results. Lead cross-functional teams or projects with department or company-wide scope; provide oversight, change management, or leadership as needed; conduct regular stakeholder meetings and maintain documentation in shared repositories. Establish processes, documentation, and standards for quality; mentor junior team members; guide design, implementation, and maintenance of complex application and system specifications. Analyze and research customer needs; identify and evaluate new developments and uses of current and upgraded systems and applications. Develop strong relationships with internal and business partners; collaborate on application design, system optimization, data transfers, and staying current on emerging technologies. Communicate effectively with audiences; engage participants and encourage input; adapt language to fit needs and perspectives. Define and track key performance indicators; ensure clear measurement of success across work efforts. Design and administer complex standards and policies for documentation; ensure adherence to department and company standards. Act as a liaison across cross-functional departments; provide guidance or leadership; may troubleshoot issues and escalate as needed; may lead cross-functional projects using project management skills. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, Computer Sciences, Process Engineering, Business, Healthcare, Information Systems or related field. A minimum of four to seven years of experience in one or multiple areas such as reporting/analytics in clinical, financial, insurance, utilization, patient satisfaction, supply chain, HR, or clinical application configuration. Strong cross-functional collaboration, project management, independent work ability, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in SQL/Ansi SQL, SAS, Tableau, Excel, and relevant clinical software applications. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with system implementation and project management. Additional experience with Cerner, NextGen, Centricity, TSI, Quality Advisor, SAS or SSRS; advanced reporting capabilities. Master’s degree or higher in a related field; advanced knowledge in their area of expertise. Closing & EEO
