Overview

Staff Product Manager role to define and execute the strategy to establish Workato as the enterprise leader in Asset Lifecycle Management. Goal is to build a unified platform that streamlines the entire lifecycle of orchestration assets. Responsibilities

Leadership in Platform Lifecycle

Develop and execute the product strategy for a unified platform supporting design, development, versioning, CI/CD, and testing.

Define and prioritize the roadmap to solve challenges of maintaining high quality automations at scale.

Deliver the best experience for Workato users to enable democratisation.

Deliver governance and quality assurance capabilities for IT leaders to confidently unlock democratisation.

Drive AI-Powered Innovation

Leverage AI to enhance discovery and adoption of platform capabilities that increase ROI for enterprises.

Integrate semantic enrichment to enforce best practices and reliable architecture.

Incorporate predictive analytics to proactively recommend optimisations during the recipe building journey.

Collaborate with AI research teams to infuse machine learning into CI/CD features, driving continuous improvement and agile delivery.

Build A Reliable Platform for Full Lifecycle Development

Embed lifecycle capabilities into the core platform to deliver reliable orchestration rapidly.

Ensure compatibility with asset lifecycle management, developer API support, deployment options, operations, observability, and related embedding.

Meet enterprise security, compliance, and scalability requirements to be the go-to platform for large-scale orchestration.

Lead Cross-Functional Execution

Collaborate with engineering, UX, and GTM teams to ensure seamless feature adoption.

Inspire confidence in GTM teams and customers to view Workato as an innovative leader in Enterprise Orchestration.

Act as a thought leader, driving customer trust and enterprise adoption.

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

An MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not required.

Experience

5+ years of product management experience in SaaS or B2B environments, specializing in Integration Platforms, with a track record of shipping and scaling complex data products.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence product strategy, and drive execution in fast-paced settings.

Technical & Analytical Skills

Deep expertise in software lifecycle operations, including design, rapid development, LCNC, version control, CI/CD, and testing methodologies.

Strong understanding of modern software architecture, API security, observability, canary releases, and Kubernetes.

Hands-on experience with version control tools, workflow automation tools, and automated testing tools to build scalable integration platforms.

Familiarity with software lifecycle technologies such as git, AI-powered linters, serverless cloud-native, and edge computing and their impact on enterprise integration strategies.

Customer & Data Orientation

Ability to understand customer needs across Workato personas, especially builders and architects, and translate complex concepts into intuitive product capabilities.

Strong data-driven decision making using customer research, data analytics, and competitive insights.

Experience analyzing large-scale deployments to optimize usage and product performance.

Our target compensation is around $230,000 USD plus stock options; final package depends on the interview process. We are open to negotiation and aim to align with salary expectations.
