Job Description

Assist in all phases of litigation, including research, drafting, and preparing legal documents. Manage case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures. Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation and strategy development. Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in court as needed. Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information. Analyze case law and provide recommendations for legal strategies. Maintain thorough documentation and records for ongoing cases. Support business development efforts by contributing to client relationships and networking events. A successful Litigation Associate should have: A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and a strong academic record. Admittance to the Texas State Bar and eligibility to practice law in Houston, TX. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills to handle complex legal issues. Experience or coursework in litigation, civil procedure, and trial advocacy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
