Position Overview:
The Tax Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to our high-net-worth clients, providing comprehensive tax planning, compliance, and consulting services. This individual will play a critical role in managing client relationships, reviewing complex tax returns, identifying planning opportunities, and ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role is ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, client-focused, and eager to grow into a future Partner of the firm. Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing proactive tax planning and advisory services. Prepare and review individual, fiduciary, partnership, and corporate tax returns. Develop and implement tax strategies that align with client financial goals. Research complex tax issues and communicate findings in a clear, actionable way. Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsiveness, expertise, and trust. Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff members. Assist with business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the firm. Support the firm’s leadership in operational and strategic initiatives, preparing for future partnership opportunities. Qualifications
CPA license required. 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly. Leadership experience, including staff supervision and mentoring, preferred. Entrepreneurial mindset with a long-term interest in becoming a Partner.
