About the Role
This position is ideal for an Associate Veterinarian ready to take the next step into regional leadership or an experienced DVM seeking a broader impact. The DVM Operations Partner will balance clinical practice with operational leadership, providing mentorship to doctors, supporting hospital operations, and helping drive growth across the assigned locations. Key Responsibilities
Champion Clinical Excellence Dedicate 75–100% of time to direct patient care, building a personal caseload. Provide case consultations, surgical and dental mentorship, and clinical support to DVMs. Enhance client satisfaction through process improvements and operational efficiencies. Build and Engage the Veterinary Community Foster a supportive, collaborative work environment. Partner with leadership on strategic planning and operational initiatives. Mentor new graduate veterinarians, supporting their professional growth. Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding efforts. Drive Operational Success Collaborate on scheduling, staffing, and efficient hospital flow. Review performance metrics and support budget/resource management. Ensure quality standards are met across all hospitals. Ensure Compliance and Quality Assurance Conduct inspections and promote a culture of quality care. Maintain regulatory compliance, including DEA oversight. Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree. Active veterinary license in the state of assigned hospitals. 3–5 years of clinical experience. DEA license (or ability to obtain). Strong leadership, mentorship, and collaboration skills. Ability to travel occasionally within the region (company-paid). Position Structure
Time Allocation : Primarily clinical (75–100%), with 0–25% administrative/leadership duties. Schedule : Four-day work week with production potential. Travel : Regional travel required to support assigned hospitals. Compensation & Benefits
Flexible compensation package (Salary or ProSal). Paid travel & housing for regional responsibilities. Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
