Mercury is building financial products to help startups and small businesses scale. We’re looking to add a Senior Business Recruiter to our team. As the main hiring partner to several key leaders across the business, you’ll own the recruiting funnel for Sales & Relationship Management and have a big impact on scaling Mercury and building out our first true sales-led motion. You will tackle niche, complex searches by employing strategic and innovative sourcing techniques. Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of Mercury’s values, brand, and product Work closely with managers and interviewers to build high-performing, diverse teams Make a friendly first impression on candidates and act as the living embodiment of our cultural values Run a recruiting pipeline end to end with autonomy, focusing on engaging passive candidates Identify and engage top talent and provide an exceptional experience throughout the recruiting funnel Guide hiring managers and interviewers toward unbiased decisions on candidates Stay up to date on company priorities and updates Monitor pipeline performance and share metrics with team members Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives Experiment with new recruiting channels and analyze their effectiveness Think of ways to improve and scale recruiting processes Welcome new hires and support them as they onboard Qualifications

5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience Deep experience recruiting for sales organizations Experience influencing and partnering with multiple executive stakeholders, ideally within go-to-market Expert sourcer with a passion for seeking out passive talent High level of empathy and intuition Clear, precise communication Commitment to building diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams Interest in automating as much of the role as possible Experience with tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Covey, Gem or similar Ability to keep track of multiple concurrent projects Creative thinking within difficult constraints Compensation

The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits. Salary ranges are competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and updated regularly using industry data. New hire offers are based on experience, location, and pay equity relative to peers. Target new hire base salary ranges for this role: US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $132,400 - $149,000 US employees outside of New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $119,200 - $134,100 Canadian employees (any location): CAD $125,100 - $140,800 Equal Employment Opportunity
