We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to join their finance team in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities
Manage and process payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Utilize ADP Workforce Now to accurately process payroll, including regular, overtime, and special payments.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and regulatory agencies as required.
Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with a focus on multi-state payroll.
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is a must.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
