Systems Engineer Integration and Test
to support the integration and testing of advanced networked communication systems. This is an
on-site role based in San Diego, CA,
with occasional/part-time telecommuting possible. The position requires domestic travel. A
Secret
clearance is required. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain technical documentation including test plans and procedures Configure systems to support testing and prototyping of developing technologies Create troubleshooting procedures and workaround documentation Conduct systems and sub-systems testing Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documentation Install and configure Windows/Linux servers Set up and maintain DNS, Exchange, and Active Directory Maintain virtual environments Deploy, monitor, and maintain network gear including switches, servers, and firewalls Capture and deploy system images Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in testing, networking, or IT-related fields Experience with DoD computer and radio systems Strong knowledge of routing, switching, protocols, VLANs, IP subnetting, LAN/WAN High proficiency in Linux and Windows environments Understanding of automation and implementation practices Secret Clearance Compensation
