Director, SEC Reporting position located in Providence, RI (Hybrid - 2 days in office per week: Tuesdays & Thursdays). Title: Director, SEC Reporting. Industry: Technology company with ~2B+ publicly held. Job location: Providence, RI (Hybrid). Employment type: Full-time. Salary: Providence, RI, $117,880.00-$240,000.00. Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the preparation of annual and quarterly SEC filings and related financial reports under U.S. GAAP and IFRS. Manage the financial close calendar and ensure deadlines are communicated and met across all stakeholders. Coordinate the preparation of annual reporting packages for shareholders and board-level review. Partner with finance leadership on drafting and reviewing Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) disclosures. Support investor relations and finance leadership with earnings releases, analyst presentations, and related communications. Oversee and coordinate annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors. Monitor evolving accounting standards and ensure timely compliance. Provide technical accounting guidance and prepare clear, well-documented accounting position memos for business partners. Communicate accounting issues and guidance updates to internal stakeholders. Assist with the financial integration of acquired businesses. Provide ad hoc analysis, reporting, and project support as needed. Qualifications
10K, 10Q SEC reporting experience within a publicly held company. CPA credential. Nice to Have
