Overview DLC is seeking experienced senior accountants to join our team in Chicago . Our dedicated full-time consultants assist clients in diverse and challenging projects spanning accounting, finance, financial reporting, FP&A, financial system implementation, process redesign, post-merger integration and/or project management across a wide variety of industries and companies.

DLC is one of Addison Groups five full-time salaried Accounting and Finance bench models with a diverse Fortune 500 client base currently operating in six major markets: Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta and Philadelphia. DLC utilizes a full-time salaried employment model and hires professionals with Big 4 CPA experience and/or graduates from one of the top 25 MBA programs. DLC consultants are highly credentialed, best-in-class senior resources suited to the sophisticated needs of our clients under the office of the CFO.

Responsibilities

Prepare month and year-end financial statements, communicating variances to senior management

Responsible for cash flow forecasting and cash management

Support general ledger monthly close process, reconciliations

Prepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow and shareholder equity at the corporate level for all entities

Identify process improvements to create efficiencies and automate reporting

Assist in the integration of systems and processes after acquisition as needed

Perform complex account analysis to ensure US GAAP compliance

Assist in drafting footnotes to the financial statements

Develop and implement standard operating procedures

Conduct inventory management, annual counts, and analysis

Support quarterly and annual audit processes

Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules

Build or enhance reporting packages and/or templates

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special ad hoc projects

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field

MBA and/or CPA (required or in the process of)

6+ years of progressive experience in a large corporate accounting role

Fortune 1000 company experience (required)

Customer-focused, energetic, adaptable

Experience utilizing large ERP systems; strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups and formulas)

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 - $135,000 and will vary depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The compensation may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses.
