solid experience in insurance coverage defense
in its Kansas City or St. Louis, Missouri, area offices. Ideal candidates will be
licensed in Missouri, Kansas, or Illinois . Attorneys must be able to work independently on complex insurance coverage and bad faith litigation cases, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be skilled in legal writing and contract and legal analysis, including the

Responsibilities
Manage file through litigation process independently and as a part of the case team.
Handle document productions and other discovery tasks.
Preparation of witnesses for deposition.
Taking and defending depositions.
Prepare pleadings, briefs, and motions.
Review and analyze insurance policies, contracts, and other legal documents.
Prepare detailed insurance coverage opinions.
Court hearing preparation and attendance.
Trial preparation and attendance.
Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in Missouri, Kansas, or Illinois.
Experience handling complex insurance coverage and bad faith litigation.
Strong written and oral communication skills; proficient legal writing and contract/analysis capabilities.
