A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice works with private equity held portfolio companies and provides solutions to preserve and generate value for their businesses. The goal is to improve transparency to key drivers and business performance, support increasing cash and EBITDA, and provide hands-on involvement in clients’ operations. The job supports PE firms to ensure portfolio companies have credible plans and the ability to execute and deliver financial outcomes. PEPI CFO Services Senior Associate, Digital Finance

Responsibilities Digital Finance Transformation Expertise with proven implementation experience. Assess Finance and Accounting functions and implement Digital technologies to improve efficiency and transparency. Finance & Accounting process improvement and process automation. Knowledge of Digital Finance tools and vendors; implement Digital tools for Finance in large public corporations or mid-size PE owned portfolio companies. Build predictive forecasting models. Define hypothesis/scope with clients, facilitate information gathering, conduct interviews, and ensure complete, accurate, and timely execution. Identify business drivers and issues using industry and functional knowledge; develop frameworks within project parameters. Develop actionable conclusions and lead project workstreams; manage client expectations and minimize risks. Design cash-generating initiatives, EBITDA improvements, and optimal organizational structures to drive value. Lead components of projects with multiple service lines and oversee smaller projects independently. Professional expectations Data collection, validation, and analysis: develop information requests, lead client interviews, identify information gaps, and perform trend analysis. Deep dive into relevant data, improve management reporting, and develop reliable forecasting; craft storyline messages supported by facts. Develop financial models (three-statement forecasts, liquidity forecasting) and client presentations independently. Develop bespoke solutions with creative approaches during unprecedented times. Project management & implementation Review work products to ensure deliverables are logical and accurate; set timelines and align with client expectations. Develop financial models and client presentations independently and accurately. Provide solusi­tions with creative approaches when needed. Teamwork Promote a collaborative environment; encourage diverse ideas and provide coaching to teammates. Financial acumen Build various financial models; understand impacts to profit and balance sheet from key operating levers. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited 4-year college/university in accounting, finance, or economics preferred but not required. Experience in at least two areas: RPA, Predictive Forecasting, Finance Analytics, NLG, data visualization. 3–7 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking, or Private Equity. Proficiency in understanding financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills. CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s Degree preferred but not required. Compensation & Benefits The salary range is $100,000 - $160,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography. A discretionary bonus program is offered based on individual and firm performance.
