We have an opportunity for a Vice President Life Sciences Intel Consultant to join our team. This is a highly visible and important role. Position Summary The Life Sciences Solutions Consultant is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving client engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction. They serve as subject matter expert (SME) in life sciences data, providing strategic guidance and actionable insights to address client-specific use cases. This role bridges the gap between data analytics and business decision-making, ensuring that pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations can leverage data to drive patient-centric outcomes and operational efficiency. Leading a team of Consultants and Analysts, this leader sets the practice and process for Client engagement and collaboration ensuring successful delivery of projects while fostering strong relationships and integrating insights into the client\'s ecosystem to drive growth and accelerate their results. Key Responsibilities
Consulting and Use Case Development:
Partner with clients to understand business challenges and design data-driven solutions aligned with specific use cases in the life sciences industry. Data Analysis and Insight Generation:
Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover actionable insights, trends, and opportunities within clinical, commercial, and operational datasets. Project Management & Delivery:
Oversee the delivery of high-quality projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client requirements are met. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and consistent delivery of value. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including data scientists, product managers, and business development, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. Team Leadership & Collaboration
Provide strategic direction and mentorship to direct reports/team, to optimize performance and output. Data Analysis and Insight Generation
Interpret and communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals. Collaborate with analytics teams to develop dashboards, reports, and tools that support ongoing data-driven decision-making. Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college required, Master’s degree a plus. A degree in Life Sciences, Data Analytics, Biostatistics, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in life sciences consulting, data analytics, or a similar role. Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, R, or data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Willingness to travel as needed. Experience in vendor negotiations and contract management is highly preferred. Skills and Competencies:
Deep understanding of life sciences data, including patient journeys, market access, and clinical workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into business language. Strength in building networks and political savvy to best navigate client decision making structures. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Collaborative leader with strong skills fostering the development of talent across a matrix organization. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with CRM or healthcare data systems (e.g., IQVIA, Veeva). Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the life sciences industry. Key Competencies:
