Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented BA - Functional Tester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet business and technical requirements and function as intended.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and functional software requirements to create detailed test cases and test scripts.
Design, develop, and execute functional and regression test plans.
Identify, report, and track software defects and issues.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
Perform system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Document test results and generate test reports.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and best practices.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical proficiency and experience as a Functional Tester or Quality Assurance Analyst; extensive experience on PLM (Teamcenter) projects.
Experience as a BA who documents requirements and writes/executed test cases and validations during UAT.
5+ years of BA experience in a large organization and 5+ years of experience as a test script writer/executor.
Professional expertise in software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Ability to write clear and concise test cases and test scripts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
ITQB or other relevant software testing certification.
Experience with Team Center PLM.
Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Mandatory Skills: PLM-Teamcenter Application.
Experience : 5-8 Years.
Compensation and Benefits
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Based on the position, the role is eligible for standard benefits including medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (including sick leave), and other leave options.
