Overview: Seeking a detail-oriented BA - Functional Tester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet business and technical requirements and function as intended.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional software requirements to create detailed test cases and test scripts.
- Design, develop, and execute functional and regression test plans.
- Identify, report, and track software defects and issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Perform system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Document test results and generate test reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and best practices.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical proficiency and experience as a Functional Tester or Quality Assurance Analyst; extensive experience on PLM (Teamcenter) projects.
- Experience as a BA who documents requirements and writes/executed test cases and validations during UAT.
- 5+ years of BA experience in a large organization and 5+ years of experience as a test script writer/executor.
- Professional expertise in software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and test scripts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITQB or other relevant software testing certification.
- Experience with Team Center PLM.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Mandatory Skills: PLM-Teamcenter Application.
Experience: 5-8 Years.
Compensation and Benefits
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Based on the position, the role is eligible for standard benefits including medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (including sick leave), and other leave options.
