Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a 3rd to 6th year Associate in the Litigation Practice of our Sacramento office. GT is consistently among the top firms on the Am Law Global 100; the Litigation Associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country. Analyze, research, and draft briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues on complex litigation, including state and federal court motions to dismiss, summary judgment, class certification motions, writs, and appeals. Argue motions and handle depositions; participate in trial preparation. Practice includes strategic planning and analytical reasoning; manage case workloads and mentor junior associates as needed. Oversee and mentor junior associates; manage cases and related document preparation. Collaborate with teams across a variety of industries and clients. Qualifications

Extensive experience in briefing and litigating complex matters across state and federal courts. Successful track record in arguing motions and defending depositions. Trial preparation experience and solid writing skills. Strategic and analytical thinking; strong case management capabilities. Experience overseeing and mentoring junior associates; case management experience. Law Review experience preferred; solid academic performance from a top law school; in good standing with the CA State Bar. Recent Practice Group Recognition

Compensation and Benefits

Proposed pay range: $250,000 – $325,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package (health insurance with optional HSA, disability, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, employee assistance program, and voluntary programs).
