Vice President, Real Estate and Development
Promanco is a privately held, Marietta, Ohio-based real estate management and contracting company. Promanco manages a mixed portfolio including industrial/warehouse, commercial, residential, developmental, and agricultural properties, with several million square feet of leasable space on thousands of acres primarily in Washington County, Ohio, and owned properties in Michigan, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Promanco handles site development, new construction, buildouts/custom builds, repairs & maintenance, tenant management, and offers general contracting services to external customers in the Mid-Ohio Valley region.
Qualified candidates will have a proven history in real estate development and property management, with a financial, construction, architectural or engineering background. The VPRE contributes to the ongoing development of the company’s vision, strategy, and organizational improvement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organization’s pro-active sales leader; responsible for all sales and marketing efforts across the Promanco revenue centers. Lead the pitch, promotion, responsiveness, selling and closing of deals.
Represent Promanco at networking and business events. Initiate and maintain strong client relationship management strategies and tactics to ensure continuous development of contracts and referrals. Maintain a strong community presence and participate in networking opportunities to grow Promanco’s business. Meet with community leaders and potential referral sources such as Regional & State Economic Development organizations, Chambers of Commerce, etc.
Build the Team. Oversee staffing, development, training and retention of business development and property management staff. Direct team members and hold them accountable for performance; foster a positive, proactive work environment.
Develop management programs for business development, property acquisition and development, and lease portfolio management.
Conduct public presentations at external project and policy meetings.
Prepare or review written materials including business justifications. Prepare and present formal briefings and presentations to Promanco’s leadership and senior executive staff regarding progress, strategic planning, and market analyses findings.
Communicate and interact effectively with internal and external contacts to exchange information, present formally, and coordinate activities across functions.
Lead team responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
Work closely with the President and the senior management team to understand the company’s strategic goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven record in leadership and management of real estate portfolios.
Experience with acquisitions and property development.
Demonstrated understanding of real estate development principles including leasing, design, finance, legal, construction and operations.
Experience developing, analyzing, and managing capital project budgets.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required; preferred background in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
Software proficiency in Microsoft Office and project & property management software platforms (e.g., ProContractor and Appfolio).
MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
10+ years of industry-relevant experience desired.
