Senior Director, Legal - Infrastructure, Trust & Digital Resilience Legal. Salesforce seeks a senior attorney to lead the team responsible for providing strategic guidance and practical counsel on the legal aspects of infrastructure, including cybersecurity, trust and digital resilience, and service availability matters related to cloud computing and AI service providers. The role serves as a trusted legal partner to the Chief Infrastructure Officer’s organization, offering proactive counsel on regulatory, policy, and litigation trends, and collaborates with Government Affairs on the cybersecurity and digital resilience regulatory landscape. This position is office-hybrid (3 days per week) based in Salesforce’s offices in San Francisco, New York City, Washington, D.C., or Chicago; remote will not be considered. Responsibilities

Strategic legal partner to Chief Infrastructure Officer, Chief Trust Officer, Chief Availability Officer, and their leadership teams on issues related to cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital resilience, including incident response and regulator/customer notification and board reporting. Develop and implement operational frameworks and processes for legal requirements concerning infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital resilience. Provide hands-on, practical legal support to empower the Infrastructure organization to design and build best-in-class infrastructure and security environments. Lead global teams responsible for day-to-day legal counsel and operations related to cybersecurity and digital resilience compliance (contractual and regulatory), including audits, assessments, and reporting. Partner with business teams and Government Affairs to set cybersecurity and digital resilience policy priorities and translate policy developments into actionable operational guidance. Collaborate with Global Privacy, Product, and AI Legal teams to integrate cybersecurity and digital resilience requirements into product requirements and processes. Coordinate with Corporate Governance Legal on SEC reporting strategy and with Litigation on investigations. Act as a resident expert on cybersecurity and digital resilience legal matters; develop and deliver training, guidelines, and real-time advisory support for operational teams. Required Skills / Experience

Significant experience practicing law with a focus on digital resilience and cybersecurity; proven ability to develop and implement operational legal solutions for complex challenges. Expertise in global cybersecurity/digital resilience laws, including SEC disclosure requirements; ability to translate legal requirements into operational procedures. Strong familiarity with global privacy and data protection laws and the ability to advise on the intersection with cybersecurity requirements. Proven leadership of legal teams in an operational context, driving efficient and effective legal support. Experience interacting with regulators and policymakers. Cloud computing and AI subject matter expertise. Desired Skills / Experience

Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field. Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance legal operations, particularly in incident response and compliance reporting. Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges are location-dependent as listed in the posting. For New York, Washington D.C., California, and Illinois-based roles, ranges vary by location.
