We are seeking a dynamic General Partner (GP) to spearhead our investment initiatives, with a primary emphasis on AI and other cutting-edge technologies. This pivotal role is designed for an exceptional leader who merges strategic vision with disciplined execution, serving as a trusted partner to founders building the next wave of enterprise AI companies. This position is not suited for everyone—it requires an individual with a sharp intellect, extensive networks, and an unwavering passion for technology, coupled with a resolute belief in B2B AI’s potential to revolutionize industries. The role demands residency in Silicon Valley, with a commitment to three full days per week in our Palo Alto office to engage deeply with our team and the Silicon Valley ecosystem. Reporting to the Managing Partners, the GP will drive deal sourcing, investment execution, portfolio growth, and thought leadership to position Avestix as a leader in disruptive innovation. Core Responsibilities

Deal Origination : Harness a robust network and industry stature to uncover and secure high-potential opportunities in B2B AI, blockchain, quantum computing, and sustainable fintech, identifying exceptional founders and technologies before they gain widespread attention. Investment Leadership : Lead end-to-end investment processes, from initial founder engagement to thorough due diligence, integrating technical expertise with strategic market analysis. Craft and negotiate term sheets, guide investment committee decisions, and finalize investments that align with Avestix’s mission to disrupt industries. Portfolio Acceleration : Act as a board member and strategic advisor to portfolio companies, offering guidance on operational scaling, market entry strategies, and regulatory navigation. Facilitate high-value connections with customers, talent, and co-investors to propel company growth. Industry Influence : Establish Avestix as a thought leader by speaking at global conferences, publishing insights on emerging trends, and shaping discourse around B2B AI and disruptive technologies. Investor Network Development : Design and implement strategies to engage the investor community, including targeted email campaigns, social media initiatives, and exclusive events (e.g., investor summits, private receptions). Monitor campaign performance through metrics like engagement rates and conversions. Data and Insights : Oversee CRM data integrity, analyze investor engagement metrics, and gather post-event feedback to refine strategies and uncover new opportunities for collaboration. Team Mentorship : Guide junior team members, contribute strategic insights during investment committee meetings, and cultivate a culture of excellence, integrity, and innovation. Qualifications and Requirements

Experience : Over 10 years in venture capital, with a demonstrated history of successful investments in B2B AI, enterprise software, or related sectors, particularly at seed or Series A stages, resulting in notable exits or scaled enterprises (e.g., at least five successful portfolio outcomes or $50M+ in capital deployed). Experience in investor relations or ecosystem development is advantageous. Expertise : Strong technical knowledge in AI/ML (e.g., understanding models, infrastructure, and competitive moats), blockchain/DeFi, quantum computing, or sustainable fintech. Skilled in using tools such as PitchBook, Marketo, Google Sheets, and AI-driven automation to enhance efficiency. Skills : Extensive network of founders, corporate executives, and investors; superior communication skills for engaging sophisticated audiences; expertise in content strategy, campaign execution, and event management. Proficient in financial modeling and performance analytics. Attributes : Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience and empathy; impeccable integrity and a collaborative spirit; resourceful and innovative, thriving in dynamic, ambiguous settings. Driven by a deep passion for technology and a steadfast belief in AI’s transformative impact. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced certification (e.g., CFA) preferred. Location and Commitment : Must reside in Silicon Valley and be fully engaged in the region’s tech ecosystem. Requires three full days per week in our Palo Alto office to foster collaboration, with flexibility for remote work on other days. What we offer
