About the Role The Senior Manager of Supply Chain leads the end-to-end retail supply chain operations across sourcing, production planning, logistics, and inventory management. They oversee relationships with co-manufacturers and vendors for all non-manufactured finished goods. This role will play a key part in enabling scalable growth, improving efficiencies, and ensuring our retail guests consistently experience the highest quality in our wellness-focused products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive retail supply chain strategies, aligning with company objectives to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines across all stages of the product lifecycle.
Manage vendor relationships
with co-manufacturers and third-party suppliers, overseeing sourcing, production, and shipping processes for all non-manufactured finished goods.
Standardize & Evaluate the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
for onboarding new vendors and/or third-party logistics (3PL) providers, assessing proposed products, services, and pricing to ensure alignment with organizational goals and quality standards.
Negotiate and manage supplier contracts
to secure favorable terms, mitigate risk, and establish long-term partnerships that support business goals.
Oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and fulfillment
of store supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and cost-efficiency.
Lead the development of product forecasts, gathering and validating data to prepare daily metrics related to product inventory levels and sales projections.
Monitor and manage inventory levels
at third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing both stockouts and overstock situations.
Drive product lifecycle management, ensuring seamless integration of new and existing products into the supply chain and the establishment of a reliable supply chain model to support product availability.
Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs)
to track supply chain performance and ensure continuous improvement, reporting findings to senior leadership.
Conduct risk assessments
to identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop proactive strategies for risk mitigation and business continuity.
Qualifications
4-7 years of supply chain management experience in food & beverage, restaurants or retail industry (required).
Experience working with a Distributor or Warehousing team.
Experience working with 3PLs, co-manufacturers, and cold chain logistics.
Demonstrated success in end-to-end supply chain management, including planning, logistics, and inventory.
Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision making.
High level problem-solving and math skills.
Familiarity with NetSuite, Crunchtime, and SQL databases.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Collaborative leader with excellent communication skills and a bias for action.
Exceptional organization and planning skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
