923 W. Weed St, Chicago, IL Shifts:
Opening Shifts 8:00am–4:00pm, Closing Shifts 2:00pm–10:00pm. The candidate must have open availability on weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights.
What You’ll Do
Assist the Store Manager in developing, leading, and motivating a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience and achieve financial targets.
Act as Manager on Duty as assigned and serve as a Curaleaf brand ambassador by providing top-notch customer service and educating guests on products.
Proactively communicate with Store Manager, District Manager, and cross-functional partners to maximize revenue opportunities.
Model selling behaviors aligned with brand culture to build loyal customer relationships and hit key financial targets.
Monitor and coach the customer service provided by team members; share best practices to deliver a distinctive guest experience.
Supervise store operations, including opening/closing, shift changes, task delegation, and scheduling.
Oversee cash handling and bookkeeping activities, including register counts, deposits, and time records.
Analyze inventory trends, supervise inventory management, place orders, and maintain appropriate stock levels.
Maintain knowledge of computer systems and software (e.g., POS, LeafLogix).
Comply with all company policies; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and assist team members as needed; travel to other locations for training/coverage (10%–25%).
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 1 year of experience in retail and/or customer service in a high-paced environment.
At least 1 year of retail supervisory experience.
Strong business acumen with the ability to measure success through financial targets and KPIs.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
Experience working in a heavily regulated industry.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to build and manage teams.
Strong salesmanship and experience driving revenue.
Attention to detail in cash handling and POS operations.
Desire for continued learning and the ability to share information effectively.
Ability to work independently and run the business in the Store Manager’s absence.
Nice to Have
Previous experience in the cannabis industry.
Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, you may stand, walk, talk or hear; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use hands to feel; reach with arms; lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Close vision is required.
Compensation and Benefits $55,000 – $60,000 USD
