Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc., in order to meet or exceed those objectives. Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance. Effectively handle objections and gain calls to action to close on every sales call. Proactively serve customer needs, expectations and challenges to build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers. Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities. Continually build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical and sales knowledge; share market intelligence with in-field team, brand team and sales manager to align and optimize brand strategy. Differen­tiate AbbVie\'s value proposition with health providers and identify, develop and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance. Qualifications

Bachelors degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant equivalent industry experience required. Relevant industry experience in lieu of a bachelor\'s degree is at least five (5) years, with three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred; a high school diploma/GED required. Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; strong business acumen; ability to operate in a matrix environment; proactive, solution-focused mindset. Proven track record of success in selling with strong presentation skills; adapts to customer style/behavior and delivers impact while anticipating changes. Influences others and builds collaborative partnerships with district colleagues and matrix team; demonstrates positive behaviors and coaching across changing environments. Documented success in leadership and increased responsibility at district/region levels; uses findings to develop sales strategies. Preferred: proven sales performance within the therapeutic areas; experience in physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care or marketing; English language proficiency (verbal and written). Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations in the assigned territory; maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials. HCIR credentialing may include background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses. You are responsible for fulfilling all requirements; AbbVie provides resources to help answer questions. Additional Information

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation the company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at posting time based on the job grade. Individual compensation may vary by location and other factors. This job is eligible to participate in short-term and long-term incentive programs. A comprehensive package of benefits is offered including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
