Genesis Drug Discovery and Development (GD3 Services), a member of Genesis Global Group, is a leading contract research organization (CRO) comprised of Chemistry, Bioanalytical, Disease Modeling and Toxicology Divisions dedicated to accelerating drug discovery and development. Our Disease Modeling division specializes in providing high quality, customized animal models and related services to support preclinical research across a wide range of therapeutic areas. The Disease Modeling Division (DMD) offers a comprehensive suite of in vivo and in vitro models, advanced technologies, and experienced scientists to support clients\' research needs. The Disease Modeling Division of Genesis Drug Discovery and Development is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Director to join our growing team. This is a pivotal opportunity for an individual with a strong background in preclinical pharmacology and a passion for strategic business growth to significantly contribute to the expansion and success of our division. The successful candidate will play a lead role in expanding our client base, developing sophisticated marketing strategies, and fostering robust, long-term customer relationships. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage expertise in the drug discovery process and preclinical pharmacology models at the intersection of science, business, and marketing. Responsibilities

Business Development (BD): Proactively identify and research potential clients within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic sectors, focusing on preclinical pharmacology needs Initiate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers through channels such as targeted email campaigns, strategic phone outreach, and professional networking Develop and articulate a deep understanding of GD3 Services offerings and unique value proposition in preclinical pharmacology models Generate and qualify high-potential prospects Develop and execute effective BD strategies in collaboration with the GD3 BD and CRM teams Represent the company at industry conferences and events, actively networking and identifying new opportunities Lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote our pharmacology services Collaborate with the scientific team to create high-impact marketing materials (website content, email campaigns, LinkedIn posts, brochures, presentations) Manage and optimize marketing databases and CRM systems Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, including SEO and paid search, and provide actionable insights Study Management: Research disease models and design pilot studies for proof-of-concept experiments In collaboration with clients, generate study plans with optimal design (control arms, numbers of animals, endpoints) Coordinate and oversee study execution with the research associate team AI-Driven Business Development: Strategically utilize AI tools to identify high-value leads, analyze market trends, and personalize outreach Implement AI-driven strategies to enhance BD effectiveness Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Cultivate and sustain strategic client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor Serve as primary contact for complex client inquiries related to preclinical study design and pricing Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and maintain accurate client records in the CRM Meeting Coordination: Schedule, coordinate, and participate in meetings with potential and existing clients (virtual and in-person) Prepare meeting agendas and materials; follow up on action items Collaborate with the scientific team to develop accurate, competitive, and scientifically sound quotes for clients; streamline the quote generation process and ensure timely delivery. Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree in a biological science, pharmacology, or related field Demonstrated understanding of preclinical pharmacology experiments, in vivo and in vitro models, and the drug discovery process Experience in business development or sales within life sciences or pharmaceutical industry, ideally in preclinical services Motivated, strategic learner with strong work ethic Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to explain complex scientific concepts Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications

Master\'s degree or PhD Experience in customer relations or client-facing roles in life sciences or CRO industry Hands-on work with rodent disease models and preclinical study management Experience in marketing (digital marketing and content strategy) Familiarity with AI tools for BD/marketing CRM software proficiency and track record of optimization Network of contacts in preclinical drug development We Offer
