CapTech’s Customer Experience (CX) team seeks a UX Architect with a track record of designing sophisticated, intuitive, and impactful digital brand experiences that are informed by qualitative and quantitative user research and accessibility best practices. UX Architects are passionate problem-solvers who align user goals, behaviors, and attitudes with business objectives, stay current with research tools and methods, and mentor other practitioners to ensure successful delivery. Leading the creation of personas, customer journeys, conceptual prototypes, and responsive interfaces that follow interaction design and usability best practices. Leading advanced design activities such as design workshops, rapid prototyping, and iterative user testing. Producing clean, informative, and concise presentations to clients and internal teams that communicate the rationale behind designs and recommendations. Advocating accessible design and usability with clients and team members. Providing insightful and constructive feedback on designs, including interactions, information architecture, content, and alignment with business goals and user needs. Performing competitive assessments and researching design and technology trends, offering innovative alternatives. Discussing scope and level of effort (LOE) with senior practice area and account team members. Volunteering for CX leadership opportunities, contributing to methodologies and toolsets, attending and leading CX meetings and trainings, and pursuing professional development. Mentoring others about design and providing design oversight and art direction for visual and interaction designers. Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience, ideally in a consulting or agency context. 4-year+ degree in design, fine arts, or similar preferred. Proven written, verbal, conceptual, and visual communication skills. Experience across multiple domains of human-centered design including user and market research, product and experience strategy, information architecture, experience design, content strategy, optimization, and customer insight. Figma expertise preferred, with proficiency in Sketch, Adobe XD; proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Agile product development lifecycles and practices is a plus. Familiarity with WCAG and other accessibility guidelines and standards is a plus.
