Arbor Terrace Greenbelt offers quality assisted living and dementia care in Lanham, Maryland. The Executive Director is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the community, including full P&L responsibility, and is involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of community life. Developing and maintaining an outstanding team of department heads is a top priority, as is maintaining a high level of customer and staff satisfaction and a safe environment for residents and staff. The Executive Director complies with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations of the community with full P&L responsibility.

Plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of community life to ensure quality resident care and experiences.

Develop and maintain an outstanding team of department heads; promote high customer and staff satisfaction.

Maintain a safe, compliant environment for residents and staff in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

NHA or CALA; must be licensed in MD

At least three years of experience in senior living operations management with a successful history meeting financial goals

Thorough knowledge of employee performance management in line with HR standards

Awareness of issues and trends affecting the industry

Proficiency with computer systems (Outlook, Excel, Word) and CRM systems
