Overview
Rowan-Virtua Regional Integrated Special Needs Center at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a talented Psychiatrist for a full-time faculty position in our Southern New Jersey offices. The qualified candidate must possess a commitment to working with marginalized and underserved communities and experience in the administration and delivery of adult psychiatric patient care in an inter-professional setting. The successful candidate must be a board-eligible/board-certified Psychiatrist. Opportunities to teach the next generation of leaders in the medical field are a part of this position. The selected candidate will provide and manage direct patient care at one or more outpatient clinical offices in Southern New Jersey and will have teaching responsibilities with undergraduate medical students and residents. Provide and manage direct patient care at outpatient clinical offices. Participate in teaching of undergraduate medical students and residents as part of a faculty position. Qualifications
MD or DO Board-eligible or board-certified Psychiatrist Valid New Jersey medical license CDS license DEA license Candidates must be licensed in the state of New Jersey at the time of hire Additional information
Note: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The university will not sponsor an applicant's work visa for this position. This faculty appointment is Tenure Eligible and may be granted upon successful completion of criteria listed in the Rowan-Virtua SOM Faculty Bylaws. Faculty Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor is pending review and recommendation by the Faculty Affairs Committee. Salary is competitive and accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. The clinical campus is located in Southern New Jersey, within the Philadelphia metropolitan area, approximately eight miles from Center City Philadelphia, one hour from the Jersey Shore, one and a half hours from NYC, and two hours from Washington, DC.
