BDR Associate Director
(NY, on-site) at a fast-growing SaaS company that enables businesses to rapidly iterate on their monetization strategies. You will be the foundational leader for the pipeline generation engine and will gradually build a high-performing BDR team as a player-coach. Backed by prominent investors, the company is trusted by leading SaaS companies and aims to accelerate go-to-market momentum through close collaboration with Marketing and Sales. Base pay range
$170,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Hire, onboard, and coach a team of BDRs focused on driving qualified pipeline, initially working alongside them as a player-coach. Set and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to activity, pipeline generation, and conversion rates. Develop and refine outreach strategies and messaging to fuel outbound pipeline generation efforts. Monitor performance metrics and conduct regular pipeline reviews to ensure goals are met. Foster a high-performance, feedback-driven culture that emphasizes continuous learning and growth within the BDR team. Provide ongoing training on sales development tools, prospecting techniques, and product knowledge. Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations to ensure seamless lead handoff processes and effective feedback loops. Requirements
MUST: 2-3+ years of experience managing SDRs or BDRs in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment. MUST: Experience building sales development programs from the ground up and adapting to fast-changing environments. MUST: History of using creative tactics to open doors. MUST: Proven track record of consistently hitting pipeline goals and effectively coaching teams to success. MUST: Strong understanding of outbound/inbound sales motions and proficiency with sales development tools. Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills. Bonus points for experience selling into product, engineering, or growth personas. Familiarity with Product-Led Growth (PLG) or usage-based sales models is a plus. Employment type
