Responsibilities
Provide expert clinical care in advanced gastroenterology, including management of complex gastrointestinal conditions, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions.
Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, and EMR.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care, contribute to innovative treatment plans and ongoing clinical trials.
Participate in education and mentorship of medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
Engage in and contribute to the development of research initiatives in gastroenterology.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records.
Contribute to the growth and development of the gastroenterology division within Baylor St. Luke's Health.
Be flexible and willing to support organizational needs with regard to healthcare and market changes.
Demonstrate established clinical expertise with a commitment to patient care outcomes.
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Serve as a team member and clinical leader in the workplace.
Provide patient-centered care with a customer-service orientation.
Qualifications
MD/DO Degree
Completed ACGME residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship
Active, or the ability to obtain, unrestricted Texas license
American Board Certification and BLS (active)
