Perform breast imaging procedures within the scope of the assigned department. Ensure high-quality mammography and may perform breast ultrasound when applicable. Prepare exam room, obtain informed consent, review patient history, select appropriate protocols, explain the procedure, position the patient, assess patient status, and perform necessary interventions. Review and evaluate completed tests for quality, completeness, and adherence to orders; coordinate with third parties/referrals as needed. Ensure quality images and coordinate preparation of images, exams, and documentation for physician partners. Document and communicate patient information thoroughly and accurately. Communicate physicians’ instructions or caregiver observations, ensuring safety, care, courtesy, and efficiency. Facilitate safe handoffs between shifts through clear communication. Monitor equipment reliability and safety; report issues. Order supplies, clean rooms and equipment, transport patients as needed. Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure. Participate in quality initiatives related to patient care, satisfaction, and workflow. Note:

Graduate of an accredited American Registry of Radiologic Technology Program (ARRT) – required ARRT (R) registered – required ARRT (M) registry – required within 18 months of hire (site-specific notes may apply) Radiologic Technologist state licensure, required (if applicable) Health Care Provider Life Support certification, required Preferred Qualifications

ARRT (BS) or ARDMS certification preferred One year of diagnostic radiology experience preferred Previous experience in Breast Imaging procedures strongly preferred Physical Requirements

Lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, speaking, standing, and walking. Location and Contact
