At Disney Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands including Disney Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end Guest and Cast experience for technology initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, PhotoPass, Merchandise and Operations Workforce Management lines of business. Role & Team: This Senior Product Manager will be responsible for product strategy, concept development, and defining and executing these initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders and partners for the Workforce Management portfolio. The role will have an understanding of business and technical capabilities, identify gaps and deliver product roadmaps for new capabilities. A successful candidate will be highly collaborative, able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and comfortable working autonomously, synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications. As the subject matter expert for workforce management, the role will liaise with development, implementation and support teams and support projects, enhancements, backlog and prioritization of features and capabilities. What You’ll Do: Contribute to the creation of the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Onsite Experience Portfolio (Map, List, Curated Maps, Detail Pages) across functional product areas. Collaborate with Product Managers at all levels within the portfolio, supporting initiatives across multiple programs including Product Operations and Sustainment, Platform enhancements, and new and emerging products. Collect, maintain and prioritize product vision and requirements from business partners. Work with the technology team to define and document detailed requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to gather requirements for large-scale projects. Drive complex projects to completion effectively and efficiently. Serve as a subject matter expert on the business, processes and systems. Escalate issues and make informed recommendations to drive product effectiveness. Act as a thought partner and mentor to other Product Owners on the team. Support digital teams in a data-informed way, using qualitative and quantitative research, documentation, reporting/analytics, project coordination, testing, and coordination of feature launches/improvements. Provide advice on emerging trends useful to both business and IT in project delivery. Practice a hypothesis-driven, test-measurement approach and stay aligned with marketing technology trends and new technologies. Champion the role of Product Owner with writing user stories, backlog refinement and prioritization, and user acceptance testing. Influence technology partners and provide continuous feedback to ensure requirements are met. Represent product management in daily roll-out activities and participate in daily scrums to drive priorities and address roadblocks. Work with development teams to ensure a deep understanding of objectives and priorities, translating concepts into user stories, epics, and other product documentation. Build positive relationships with key team members to align scope across product lines, destinations, and brands within Disney Experiences. Present vision and strategy plans to executive leadership throughout the project lifecycle for the portfolio’s products. Manage scope and traceability of requirements, ensuring understanding by the project team and delivery of the solution. Participate in functional design, construction and testing; ensure benefits, impact and release are tracked and managed; ensure outcomes are delivered on time and within budget. Required Qualifications & Skills: 5+ years of product management or equivalent experience driving product strategy and execution Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience Basic knowledge of Public Cloud Technologies like AWS Understanding of data pipeline issues and solutions Understanding of Agile practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD) Strategic thinker who can drive ideas into action with initiative Ability to resolve complex issues and communicate clearly Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills Experience with JIRA, Smartsheets, or similar tools Preferred Qualifications: Experience with J2EE, Java, SQL and non-SQL technologies Strong technical product knowledge in workforce management Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field #DISNEYTECH Equal Opportunity and Accessibility The Walt Disney Company and its affiliated companies are Equal Employment Opportunity employers and welcome all job seekers, including individuals with disabilities and veterans with disabilities.
