Overview
Senior Startup Account Manager at AWS to earn trust and drive growth among a set of well-funded, high-potential startups. You will work with startups building innovative solutions, collaborating with external contacts and internal teams to meet and exceed sales quota, and position AWS as their primary cloud provider.
Responsibilities
Ensure customer success with early and mid-stage startups
Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical
Accelerate customer adoption through well-developed sales engagements and GTM strategy
Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and goal targets
Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan
Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
Engage Founders, CxOs, Board of Directors and VC influencers to accelerate adoption
Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
Travel as required
Team & Environment Work with business development, marketing, solution architecture and partner teams to lead coordinated go-to-market strategies and sales plays. Collaborate with portfolio engagement teams to drive top-of-funnel customer acquisition and accelerate seller cycles.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems
Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans

Compensation & Location Compensation reflects cost of labor across markets. Base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year to $212,600/year, with potential variable pay via a sales compensation plan. Equity, sign-on, and other benefits may be included as part of total compensation. Location: San Francisco, CA, or other eligible locations per policy.
