Seeking a
Director of Manufacturing
who will collaborate with the executive leadership team to drive the strategic direction of manufacturing operations, ensuring effective use of facilities, equipment, and staffing to maximize profitability. This role will focus on optimizing equipment utilization, minimizing delays, and managing costs and revenue. Responsibilities
Oversee manufacturing activities, including production plans and process creation to meet corporate goals. Develop and implement manufacturing policies, using lean concepts to improve productivity. Collaborate with leadership on long-term goals, expansion, and technology integration. Work with the CFO to develop budgets and track financial performance. Ensure safety, quality, and delivery standards are met in all production processes. Manage equipment procurement, maintenance, and layout. Report progress to the executive team and participate in company-wide best practices initiatives. Candidate Profile
Proven leadership in a lean, results-driven manufacturing environment. Experience in job quoting, cost absorption, and shop-floor scheduling. Strong knowledge of metal cutting and forming technologies, with experience in the metal fabrication industry preferred. Experience with coil cutting and sheet blanking / fabrication is preferred. Ability to collaborate with sales, regional teams, and management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree; 10-15 years of relevant manufacturing experience. Technical training and certifications (e.g., APICS, SME) preferred. Expertise with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
