What You’ll Do

Discovery: Conduct detailed discovery to qualify and scope prospect/client needs, assess product fit, and identify differentiated value Varicent can deliver; qualify technical fit and collaborate with Sales to advance opportunities.

Demos & Proof of Concepts: Lead client engagements, deliver tailored demos, conduct proof-of-concepts, workshops, and scalability tests; establish credibility as a technical expert and trusted advisor.

RFPs/RFIs: Complete functional and technical requirements accurately and on time; shape RFP responses to highlight differentiators and gaps.

Product & Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Varicent core capabilities; leverage new features in positioning and demos; provide high-level platform demos and standalone product demos as needed; deliver technical overviews to IT audiences covering architecture, integration, security, and performance.

Domain & Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of SPM concepts (Sales Planning, Territory Management, Quota Planning); familiarity with industry-specific challenges; translate complex requirements into technical solutions and articulate value to business and technical stakeholders.

Customer Engagement: Build lasting client relationships, develop technical champions, and deliver executive-level demos; act as a trusted advisor for long-term platform adoption and business impact.

Team Enablement & Support: Share best practices, mentor new hires, and contribute to enablement efforts and demo assets; support post-sale knowledge transfer to implementation teams/partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent Varicent in webinars and events, contribute thought leadership, advocate for feature enhancements with Product and Engineering, and support partner co-selling efforts.

Day-to-Day: Execute sales-process responsibilities with professionalism; participate in team meetings; maintain a solution-focused, positive attitude; manage administrative tasks in systems like Homerun and SFDC.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of technical software sales experience in Enterprise SaaS with consultative selling to senior leaders and business users preferred.

Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate complex operations and differentiate business value.

Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Experience building and managing executive-level relationships.

Self-motivated, energetic, and eager to learn and grow professionally.

Proven track record of meeting quota and handling all technical aspects of enterprise sales from start to close.

Coachable, team-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment; share knowledge with the broader team.

Working knowledge of SaaS applications; experience in the SPM space is a plus.

Understanding of relational databases and REST API concepts.
