Overview
Our client is seeking a Sales & Marketing Specialist with a strong hunter mentality to grow customer enrollments through broker channels and strategic partnerships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Small Business and C&I experience are a plus, and prior industry knowledge will be highly valued but they are open to entry level. The Sales & Marketing Specialist will also oversee the monthly broker commission payment process to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and expand broker and partner relationships to drive new customer enrollments. Create and execute partnership strategies that increase residential growth; expand into SMB/C&I where applicable. Prospect, negotiate, and close new partnership opportunities with a focus on rapid enrollment growth. Act as a customer-facing representative, ensuring professionalism and responsiveness. Oversee the monthly broker commission payment process, coordinating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Track and report on broker and partnership performance against key KPIs. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align sales strategies with broader business objectives. Represent at industry events and networking opportunities to drive awareness and pipeline growth. Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a hunter role. Experience managing broker channels and partnerships in the retail electricity industry strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to build trust quickly. Excellent organizational skills to oversee both sales pipelines and commission processes. Analytical mindset with ability to track results and recommend improvements. Seniority level
