SR Director Of IT - Infrastructure & Cybersecurity (Irving based) Senior Director of IT Infrastructure, IT Operations & Cybersecurity Foundation Repair Solution Location: Virginia Beach, VA or Irving, TX Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Director of IT Infrastructure, IT Operations & Cybersecurity to lead our technology transformation and security maturation initiatives. This executive role will drive the evolution of our distributed technology landscape while building world-class cybersecurity capabilities across our nationwide operations. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity program development, and IT operations excellence. Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Strategy: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments Network Architecture: Oversee distributed branch network operations, Wi-Fi infrastructure, and connectivity solutions across multiple geographic locations Infrastructure Modernization: Drive transformation from legacy systems to modern, secure, and scalable technology platforms Capacity Planning: Ensure infrastructure scalability to support rapid business growth and expansion Security Program Leadership: Build and mature comprehensive cybersecurity programs aligned with NIST Cybersecurity Framework and CIS Controls Risk Management: Develop and implement enterprise-wide cybersecurity risk assessment and mitigation strategies Compliance & Governance: Establish security governance frameworks ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements Security Architecture: Design and implement security controls across cloud, network, and endpoint environments Incident Response: Lead cybersecurity incident response capabilities and business continuity planning Service Management: Oversee Help Desk operations, ensuring exceptional end-user support and service delivery End User Computing: Manage enterprise mobility solutions, device management, and user productivity platforms ITSM Processes: Implement and optimize Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes following ITIL best practices Performance Monitoring: Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure and security Leadership & Transformation
Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing IT infrastructure and security teams Process Optimization: Drive process standardization and automation to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead Vendor Management: Manage strategic technology partnerships and vendor relationships Budget Management: Oversee IT infrastructure and security budgets, ensuring optimal ROI on technology investments Required Qualifications
Experience Requirements
Leadership Experience: 5-8 years in senior IT leadership roles with direct team management responsibility Technical Experience: 10+ years of combined experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity Industry Experience: Preference for experience in distributed operations, construction, or service-based industries Technical Expertise
Cloud Platforms: Expert-level knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform with hands-on architecture experience Network Technologies: Deep understanding of enterprise networking, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi infrastructure, and distributed connectivity solutions Cybersecurity Frameworks: Proven experience implementing NIST Cybersecurity Framework and CIS Controls Security Technologies: Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, identity management, and security orchestration tools IT Service Management: Strong background in ITIL processes and service management platforms Leadership Qualities
