Senior Structural Engineer with Aviation Facilities, Airport or Aircraft Hangar projects. Located in Lakewood, Colorado. This role offers flexible schedules and a compensation package that may be above market salaries depending on skills and experience. Responsibilities
Lead and manage engineering and technical staff to ensure successful project delivery. Coordinate structural design efforts internally and with external consultants across disciplines. Develop, monitor, and manage detailed project work plans, schedules, and design budgets. Serve as the primary liaison with clients and contractors throughout all phases of design and construction. Establish and implement project-specific quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) plans. Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical support to junior staff, fostering their professional growth and development. Represent the firm in design and construction meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Build and sustain strong client relationships through responsive service and trusted partnership. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program 8 years of progressive engineering experience Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Structural Engineer (SE) Experience managing aviation facility projects — international terminal, regional airport, aircraft hangar, flight training center, and general aviation facilities Desired Qualifications
Extensive experience designing and managing projects from initial design through construction completion Strong internal and external communication skills Advanced project management expertise Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proven capability to manage confidential information responsibly Benefits
