Chief Commercial Officer
to join its executive leadership team. This is a high-impact role for a proven commercial leader who can drive growth, shape strategy, and build a high-performing team in one of the most dynamic areas of the energy transition. The Opportunity: The Chief Commercial Officer will lead and expand the platform’s DG solar and storage portfolio, with a remit that spans origination, M&A, offtake, and go-to-market strategy. The successful candidate will be a strong leader, capable of motivating and holding accountable a commercial team while delivering against a business plan. They will combine a track record of demonstrated wins with the ability to structure and scale a thriving department, ensuring both strategic direction and hands-on execution are delivered to the highest standard. This position provides the opportunity to directly influence both near-term results and long-term growth, shaping the platform’s commercial success alongside the CEO and executive team. Key Responsibilities:
Lead origination and partnership development across the DG solar and storage sector. Oversee offtake and commercial strategy to maximise market penetration. Drive project M&A and portfolio expansion initiatives. Shape and execute national go-to-market strategy. Build, motivate, and hold accountable a commercial team aligned to business goals. Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive peers on overall company direction. The Ideal Candidate:
15+ years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or related sectors. Proven track record of originating and closing deals in DG, C&I solar, or community solar markets. Experience leading and scaling commercial or business development teams. Strong executive presence and ability to operate as both strategist and hands-on dealmaker. Familiarity with offtake structures, customer programs, and project M&A. Seniority level
