Overview

The Construction Project Manager will lead the efforts of an entire team, including Business Developers, Account Managers, Field Engineers, Fire Protection Specialists, and Regional Managers associated with Integrated Project Solution projects. The role focuses on collaborating resources to increase Share of Wallet (SoW) by converting project specifications into sales and identifying new opportunities. The role defines capture plans, manages opportunities, and conducts capture team calls to maintain project focus and track progress. It also establishes and maintains high-level contacts with buying and non-buying customers on key projects and develops relationships with site and office stakeholders to win specified and discretionary opportunities and achieve the sales forecast for each project in the portfolio. What the role involves

Provide project support by coordinating with Business Developers, Account Managers, Regional Managers, Field Engineers, contractors, designers, specifiers, and officials of codes and approvals Establish and strengthen customer relationships by communicating Hilti’s Value Proposition (buying and non-buying) Capture project or opportunity in pipeline management software to inform MO and Hub Maintain SFDC for due date, value, scope, segment and verify opportunities fit strategic focus and there is resource capacity to execute Review all new opportunities with the steering committee and decide on which to pursue, delay, shelve and communicate decisions back to key stakeholders Support respective business developers in building a legal framework around ESA written/T&C negotiation to reach a mutual agreement between parties while addressing legal rights, obligations and interests. Finalize and execute legal documents. Review the overall workflow and evaluate how well the project aligns with Hilti’s capabilities Responsible for internal validation and sign-off from internal stakeholders (finance, logistics engineering, risk management, MO, global) Competency in presenting commercial offers for Prefabrication services, including hardware Visit jobsites with salespeople, field engineers, fire protection specialists, or business developers to identify opportunities, understand complete project scope, and coordinate resources Conduct regular capture team meetings to provide direction/training on converting specifications to sales and on jobsite protocols and provide project tracking updates Obtain increased SoW by converting specifications, reverse engineering, and identifying new opportunities Review project specifications and plans to assist the sales force in providing quotations on specified products and submitting alternates to non-Hilti specifications Work with the Hilti project execution manager to clarify project requirements ensuring a shared understanding for successful project execution Coordinate with the Hilti Project Execution Manager for material availability to support project execution, manage schedule updates to identify risk and communicate significant changes, communicate to LOD team, align on project activities to ensure internal and external engagement Utilize CRM system and capture plan to maintain records of contacts, specifications, sales, and action plans Establish and build high-level contacts with assigned project contacts Experience in Navisworks, preferred Candidates must be located in the Washington Metropolitan Area, which includes Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, with most projects based in Virginia Additional duties, as assigned What you need

Bachelor’s Degree, required; degree in engineering, project management, or technical field, preferred Two (2) years of trade, product management, or field sales experience, required Previous project management, sales or technical experience in relevant construction projects, required Demonstrated industry experience and knowledge of Hilti products and applications Two (2) years’ experience as a BIM Project Manager, preferred Strong communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills required; ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, required Proven track record in achieving assigned results Demonstrated ability to gather data, conduct market research, and complete analysis Ability to lead Hilti project team through completion of assigned projects Ability to complete Hilti CPM Certification, required Why should you apply?

The salary range for this role reflects typical factors in compensation decisions; a different location may result in a different range. A current estimate is $99,000 - $112,000 with bonus at target of $22,000 - $24,000.
