Principal Recruitment Consultant- Commercial Solutions at DSJ Global A leading chemical manufacturing company is currently seeking a Regional Logistics Director who will be responsible for strategically leading multiple sites to drive operational excellence, enhance customer experience, and optimize cost efficiency, while advancing key initiatives and strengthening team engagement.
Responsibilities for the Regional Logistics Director:
Drive strategic planning and execution across 3-5+ logistics sites to meet annual performance goals and deliver operational excellence.
Implement and oversee robust safety programs across all facilities, ensuring world-class standards and regulatory compliance.
Develop and execute plans to consistently achieve 95%+ DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time), improving service levels and customer satisfaction.
Manage a regional budget of $20-40M, improve cost-per-kilo (CPK), and ensure capital expenditures are compliant and on schedule.
Mentor and grow Managers and Supervisors, set engagement strategies for 120-300 team members, and foster a culture of supply chain excellence.
Collaborate with Sales to support chemical sales, manage 3PL relationships with clear KPIs, and lead change management and start-up initiatives.
Lead CI and TPM initiatives to eliminate losses, maintain inventory accuracy above 99.5%, and drive data-driven problem solving.
Requirements for the Regional Logistics Director:
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in logistics
Proven experience leading multiple warehouse operations and 3+ years in process improvement, including TPM and/or Six Sigma Black Belt credentials.
Skilled in managing third-party logistics (3PL) relationships to achieve performance targets and operational goals.
Experience with multi-site leadership, inventory accuracy, and change management in dynamic supply chain environments.
Proficient in SAP and knowledgeable in logistics automation and warehouse productivity solutions.
