ATCS is growing! We have an exciting opportunity for a Site/Civil (Land Development) Engineer to join our vibrant team. This is a hybrid role with three days per week required onsite. We are considering candidates based out of Newport News (VA) or Virginia Beach. Responsibilities
Developing innovative technical land development design solutions Collaborating with senior engineers and managers to develop innovative design solutions and address project challenges Working collaboratively with a team of go-getters and industry leaders Engaging in strong client relationships through frequent communications Designing diverse projects including mixed-use, residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial development Mentoring and educating early-career Site/Civil staff Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering Professional registration (P.E.) in Virginia 5–10+ years of land development design experience with Virginia clients/projects Self-starter who is eager to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Strong civil engineering design experience including stormwater, utilities, paving, roadway design, and grading Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D Familiar with state and municipal design and development processes Effective interaction with municipal approval authorities Why ATCS

The role is also eligible for an annual bonus with a target of 2% of the employee’s annualized salary. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits coverage on the first day of the month following start date. Benefits include personal PTO, holiday PTO, medical/dental/vision plans, 401k match up to 3% with immediate vesting, parental leave, STD & LTD, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program, and more.
