The Senior Accountant will support Komline’s Diversified Water segment where stewardship meets cutting-edge technology. The Senior Accountant will support the financial operations of six specialized business units that are at the forefront of solving water challenges from advanced membrane filtration technologies to innovative stormwater solutions protecting wetlands and waterways. Working with employees at these locations, they will be responsible for the financial reporting, accounting, and banking activities.

Base pay

$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries for accounting-related activities such as Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), cash, payroll, fixed assets, inventory, prepaids, intercompany, credit cards, month-end accruals, and related items. Monthly financial close processes for the entities assigned by the Controller of Diversified Water, ensuring accurate and timely results Review Income Statement and perform variance analysis Review Balance Sheets and compile reconciliations in FloQast with proper supporting documentation Assist with sales, use, and income tax returns and payments Correspond with corporate staff, subsidiaries staff, auditors, inquiries, and other parties Ad hoc tasks, reporting, or projects as assigned by Controller May assist with treasury matters including transactions and reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 5+ years of accounting experience Experience completing month-end closing process and variance analysis Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel; including pivot tables and VLOOKUP) Experience with multiple ERP/accounting software packages and ongoing Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration projects Effective verbal and written communication Ability to prioritize projects to meet business deadlines Ability to travel up to 25% to designated business units

Preferred Skills

Manufacturing industry experience Experience in a multi-entity organization
