Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join our award-winning team. As an integral member of our litigation team, you will gain immediate hands-on experience handling a variety of litigation matters involving wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, construction, breach of contract/business disputes, and more. From inception to resolution, you will have the opportunity to handle every aspect of your cases including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, arguing motions in court, attending mediations, and trial. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth, as you will collaborate closely with team members and have the opportunity to be mentored by experienced partners. Responsibilities

Handle a variety of litigation matters from inception to resolution, including legal strategy, research, and drafting pleadings and motions. Manage discovery, argue motions in court, and attend mediations and trials as applicable. Interface with clients and opposing counsel; collaborate with team members and mentor relationships with experienced partners. Maintain a strong client-focused approach and pursue positive outcomes across diverse cases (wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, construction, breach of contract/business disputes, and more). Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Current admission to the California State Bar. 1+ years of experience in civil litigation in a law firm environment. Skilled in legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, propounding and responding to discovery, and interfacing with clients and opposing counsel. Experience taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and attending mediations; trial experience is a plus. Exceptional communication and advocacy skills with a client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes. Desire and/or ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with the team. Benefits
