As part of the PepsiCo Regulatory Affairs team, you will be responsible for ensuring faultless compliance of ingredients and system documentation for several brands within the PepsiCo Foods US Business Unit. This team is critical to the innovation/renovation process from ideas all the way through to launch. You will have the opportunity to interact regularly with many other functions including Product Development, Marketing, Procurement, and Legal. Responsibilities

Ensure compliance of new ingredient and packaging solutions and approve specifications for the US Foods business, including new work to support innovation initiatives. Review ingredient questionnaires and work directly with suppliers to ensure information is complete and accurate to feed into internal systems, generate label content and final packaging graphics. Author ingredient statements, nutrition facts, substantiate claims, and approve graphics that help consumers make informed choices about PepsiCo Foods. Manage multiple Frito-Lay and Quaker brands and ensure accuracy of regulatory information in R&D databases, specifications, and on final artwork. Participate in multiple product task force groups to provide input on nutrition labeling, claims, and regulatory questions as well as packaging timelines. Review and maintain Regulatory Affairs data and systems to ensure labeling information is complete and accurate. Serve as the point person for changes or enhancements within internal labeling systems related to ingredients. Manage requests for ingredient documentation and certifications to support product labeling and claims. Demonstrate outstanding attention to detail and a passion for proper processes and documentation. Apply strong project management, prioritization, and influencing skills to move timelines forward. Collaborate with others to support the team’s success. A thorough understanding of US FDA labeling regulations will be an asset. Compensation & Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is between $69,900 - $117,000. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications: BS in Nutrition Science, Food Science, Engineering, Technology or equivalent as minimum Advanced computer skills Minimum of 2 years of regulatory affairs experience with strong knowledge of FDA and USDA food regulations Excellent computer skills and attention to detail Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to prioritize workload, balance multiple tasks and work independently Strong sense of urgency and commitment to meet deadlines Preferred Skills: Experience with product specification, regulatory and/or product lifecycle management tools EEO Statement
