Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Director of Finance to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $150,000 to $200,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s short- and long-term goals
Advise executive leadership and ownership on financial performance, investment opportunities, and risk management
Oversee financial modeling for new hotel acquisitions, developments, renovations, and real estate projects
Direct all accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and closings
Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare rolling forecasts, cash flow projections, and scenario analyses
Requirements
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team
Collaborate with operations, development, legal, and executive leadership teams
Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and financial transparency
Ensure internal controls are effective to protect assets and minimize risk
Oversee insurance programs, tax compliance, and audit processes
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s/MBA or CPA preferred)
10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with exposure to hospitality and real estate development
Show strong knowledge of hotel management financial systems and development/project accounting
Prove expertise in financial strategy, capital markets, and real estate investment analysis
Exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
