Overview
The Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center is seeking a full-time Vascular and Liver Transplant Anesthesiologist to work in the General, Vascular and Transplant (GVT) division and join the liver transplant anesthesiology team. Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Anesthesiology and have significant experience and expertise in liver transplant anesthesiology. Responsibilities
Provide clinical care to colorectal, hepatobiliary, endocrine, vascular, urology and transplant patients. Commitment to research and resident education. Contribute to the GVT division’s national recognition for Enhanced Recovery pathways and excellence in clinical care, research, and education. Support the liver transplant team, which includes approximately 10 members and performs around 200 liver transplants per year with strong outcomes. Opportunity to staff the Preoperative and Surgical Screening (PASS) Clinic. Division and Institution
