Overview
Piedmont Oncology, Piedmont Healthcare's newly reorganized cancer program, is recruiting a board certified/board eligible medical hematology/oncology physician for its Piedmont Eastside Hospital location in Snellville, GA. Piedmont Eastside is a 40 minute commute from Atlanta proper and Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
This position will support a rapidly growing and evolving cancer program both locally and across the 23-hospital system. This new physician will support and expand the clinical excellence aligned with discovery and innovation associated with Piedmont Oncology.
The ideal BC/BE candidate will be self-motivated to excel as a clinician and work well with other providers both locally and across Piedmont Oncology. The BE/BC candidate will require a Georgia medical license. He/she must have strong communication skills and genuine compassion for the patients and the patients\' family/support teams. Piedmont Oncology will provide numerous opportunities to participate in and lead research and care pathway initiatives across the system.
Responsibilities
Support a rapidly growing cancer program locally and across the Piedmont Healthcare system.
Engage in clinical excellence aligned with discovery and innovation within Piedmont Oncology.
Collaborate with other providers locally and across Piedmont Oncology.
Qualifications
Board certified or board eligible in medical hematology/oncology (BC/BE).
Georgia medical license.
Strong communication skills and genuine compassion for patients and families.
