For us all good design is sustainable. The Opportunity: Perkins Eastman Architects DPC seeks a Junior Project Manager for our San Francisco, CA location. May telecommute up to one day per week. Primary Responsibilities: Assist Principal-in-Charge with generating Design Services Proposals. Manage and build-upon client relationships. Understand contracts and run projects from inception through project closeout. Manage project teams and determine staffing assignments required to meet project milestones. Responsible for all aspects of project management including budgeting, staffing, billing and consultant billing. Responsible for day-to-day control and management of architectural team (design through contract documents and administration) and client and consultant teams. Prioritize and manage multiple projects. Assist in proposal writing and attend interviews for potential projects. Make presentations to school boards and similar entities. Little local travel to client sites up to 5 days a month may be involved. May require evening hours. Required Qualifications: Must have Bachelors in Architecture or rel field and 5 years relevant exp in architecture, design, and construction administration. Also requires skills (3 yrs exp) in: Working on public K12 or Community College design projects in California; working with California Education/DSA construction regulations; submittal, RFI, ASI review/response and consultant coordination in California; making presentations to school district leadership; exterior detail; Revit; Project Management software using Deltek Vision; Enscape; Affinity Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-design; 3D rendering software; data management software; Microsoft PowerPoint; leading technical details of projects; sustainable design; and working under contract with builders as a design build entity. Must have California Architecture License. Must have LEED AP or LEED GA certification.
