The opportunity: As a Senior in our Global Trade practice, you will use your experience and technical knowledge to bring value to clients and manage risks related to global trade matters. You will be a member of our Global Trade Managed Services team that assists clients to move their freight both effectively and compliantly around the globe. Responsibilities

Execute Harmonized System (HS) Classification Projects. Drive Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification and solicitation initiatives. Conduct audits of customs brokers and third-party providers to uphold high standards of trade compliance. Research customs and international trade issues and perform customs compliance work for clients. Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, international relations or a related trade operations management field. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. An analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and strong critical thinking. Collaborative spirit and positive contribution to team dynamics. Industry-specific certifications or licenses are viewed favorably. Approximately 4 or more years of related work experience in industry, a professional services firm, a Fortune 500 company or a major importer or exporter. Excellent organizational skills, motivation, and a positive attitude. Proficiency in a technology-enabled environment. Willingness to travel as needed, and to work in a balanced hybrid environment. Process, document, and oversee FTA documentation requests with precision and efficiency. Accurately classify products in accordance with the HTS. Proactive and strategic communication with suppliers, clients, and third-party providers to ensure seamless exchange of FTA documentation and classification information. Meticulous reviews of trade documentation to ensure adherence to Customs Regulations, with clear audit trails. Support for daily FTA and classification inquiries, resolving import-related complexities. Develop, analyze, and interpret KPIs, assemble quarterly business review reports, and handle ad hoc data inquiries to drive decisions. Identify and advocate for process enhancements and operational efficiencies. Research customs and international trade issues and advise clients on compliance and duty-saving opportunities. Understanding of customs compliance regulations; CCS or LCB certifications are advantageous. Experience in professional services with ability to listen to client needs and develop value propositions. Comprehensive compensation and benefits package. The base salary range in the US is $81,700 to $135,000; in New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) it is $98,100 to $153,500. Salaries depend on education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. Total Rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off options. Team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model; most client-facing roles are expected to be in person 40-60% of the time over a project or year.
